Better Than Good  DSC07116

If asked, most people will say their gym is good. Meaning it is a good place to workout. It is a good place to do a little bit of cardio, maybe some weights. Spend an hour or so a few times a week and then go home. Most people rush to leave. And once they do, they don’t think about it again (except maybe with a bit of dread) until their next workout.

WorkTrainFight is NOT most gyms. We strive to create an environment that is more than just a gym. For our members it is a home, a sanctuary, a family. A place to give back to the community. A place to laugh, to meet to new people and grow closer to those you already know. A place to not only box but to get BETTER at boxing. Here’s how:

WTF Helps You Give Back

WorkTrainFight is not just good. We DO good. And now we are giving our members even more opportunities to join in.

Our little gym has a big heart. One of our founding principles was that owner Alberto Ortiz wanted to change the world, make it a better place. Even if he only reached .001% of the population, then we would make that small slice better, stronger, kinder.

Throughout our seven years, we have hosted countless charity events. We partner frequently with the Center Against Domestic Violence. We hold weekly classes for at-risk youth. And now, we want YOU, our members to join us in making our charity programs even better.

If you are interested, reach out to us at elena@worktrainfight.com. We will be holding monthly meetings and brainstorming sessions to help all of you give back to the community. Because trust us, it feels good.

WTF Helps You Kick Butt

At WTF we want to build an army. An army of big-hearted, hard-hitting badasses. We want our members to not only know how to box but to actually be GOOD at it. You already know that we push you in classes, semi-privates and one-on-one sessions, making sure your form is nothing less than perfect. But we want to give you even more opportunities to perfect your skills.

We decided, what better way to learn and grow as a boxer than to put you in our shoes? Literally. For the first time, we are opening up the opportunity for interested members to co-teach our classes. You will learn how to hold pads, learn to call combinations and how to do it all with proper technique to ensure your safety.

WTF Helps You Have Fun

It’s safe to say that you have a good thing going when people want to hang out at your gym. On any given day, you’ll catch our members chatting it up well after class has ended. Trainers cracking jokes with clients. Because once the work is over, we actually enjoy each other’s company.

In order to celebrate this awesome camaraderie we decided to throw a party for you all. For no other reason than we want to get our whole WTF family together and just have FUN. So come join us, on Saturday March 25th at 8 p.m. (post-photoshoot) for food, wine and most importantly good company.
